LAHORE, July 20: The Lahore Development Authority’s recovery wing sealed on Friday two restaurants on MM Alam Road in Gulberg for non-payment of annual commercialization fee to the LDA since 2008.

The LDA team led by recovery wing director Bushra Naseer sealed Dhaba and Sheikhu restaurants after their owners failed to pay Rs6.5 million commercialization fee.

She said several notices had been issued to restaurants’ owners to pay the outstanding fee prior to taking action.

POSTING: LDA Director General Ahad Khan Cheema ordered on Friday postings of three assistant directors.

According to orders, the services of Muhammad Mazhar Hussain have been placed at the disposal of Additional Director General (Housing) whereas Muhammad Asim Mushtaq and Rao Farman have been posted in the Directorate of Land Development-II and Directorate of Estate Management, (LDA Avenue-I residential scheme), respectively.

ONE-WINDOW: The LDA’s one-window cell will remain open for public from 8.00am to 12.00 noon daily during Ramazan.

According to a press release issued here on Friday, the LDA offices, in pursuance to a notification of the Punjab government, will remain open from 7.00am to 1.00pm from Monday to Thursday and from 7.00am to 12.00 noon on Friday and Saturday in Ramazan.
