KARACHI: Seminar on schools

KARACHI, Dec 17: The city government is organizing a seminar on “checks and balances in financial management by the drawing and disbursing officers in secondary and higher secondary boys schools” at the NJV Government Boys Higher Secondary School on Dec 23.

The seminar will be presided over by Prof Anwar Ahmed Zai, additional secretary (finance and development) of the Sindh education department.

It has been observed that in most of the offices/schools, the financial management and maintenance of accounts have not been satisfactory.—APP
