HYDERABAD, Dec 16: Canals of the Kotri Barrage will remain closed from Dec 26, 2002, to Jan 10, 2003.

This was announced by the chief engineer, irrigation, Kotri Barrage, here on Sunday.

During the closure period, there will be no flow of water in any of the off-taking canals i.e. Akram Wah, old Phulelli (Pinyari), new Fulleli, KB Feeder Upper, Wadhu Wah and Fasadi Wah.

Similarly, the Canals of the Sukkur Barrage will remain closed from Jan 6 to 20, 2003.

This was announced by the chief engineer, irrigation, Sukkur Barrage. During this period, there will be no water supply in the off-taking canals of the Sukkur Barrage i.e. NW Canal, Dadu Canal, KF West.
