LAHORE, July 9: Chishtian Daanish School for Boys has been selected for Microsoft Innovative Pathfinder School for the year 2013.

Any school becoming part of this system can get all kinds of expertise relating to the education sector, including services of international experts, says a Punjab government handout.

The schools affiliated with the system also participate in coordinated activities for promotion of culture of new inventions all over the world, it says.

Microsoft had invited applications from all over the world for selection of FY-2013 Pathfinder and Mentors School a few days ago. Some 64 schools were selected for the system on the basis of performance, including Daanish School Chishtian for Boys, it added.

Daanish Schools Authority Chief Executive Yousaf Kamal says Microsoft is taking the students of computer section of Chishtian Daanish School who have taken part in the competition on a study tour to Morocco.
