I AM a resident of Qamber Shahdadkot, which is situated at the Sindh-Balochistan border. It has seven tehsils and was created in December 2004 by dividing Larkana. The main object of creating this new district was to facilitate the people, but all claims proved wrong.

The district has no basic facilities such as hospitals, schools, drinking water, roads, etc., and nobody seems to be interested in improving the situation.

The chief minister of Sindh is requested to allocate special funds for the development of the district.
