LONDON, Nov 20: All-rounder Andrew Flintoff was called up to join England’s 16-man squad currently on tour in India Tuesday, according to the BBC.

It said coach Duncan Fletcher had called up the Lancashire player to boost the team’s bowling options after all-rounder Craig White said he was struggling to bowl at full pace.

Flintoff missed out on the original tour selection and was instead sent to Australia with an England Academy side under Rod Marsh.—Reuters
