PESHAWAR, June 29: Police have arrested two employees of a courier company and recovered from them stolen mobile phone sets costing Rs1.5 million.

The Gulberg police on Friday said a private courier company had dispatched consignment of cellular sets from Peshawar to Karachi but its employees sold the sets in the market.

Following a complaint by the company’s security officer Munsif Khan of Abbottabad on June 28 at Gulberg police station, the police arrested two of the company’s employees -- Arshad of Jamrud and Shafqat of Customs Chowk Peshawar and recovered the valuables from them.—Bureau Report
