Excise officials booked

SHIKARPUR, Dec 14: A case has been registered against six excise officials on charges of robbing foreigners on Thursday.

Officials at the New Foujdari police station reported that excise inspector Karim Bakhsh Soomro, head constable Saeed Ahmed Mehar, constables Raheem Bux Sanjrani, Taj Mohammad Pathan, Zahid Ahmed Soomro and Shabbir Ahmed Soomro, were involved in robbing Yugoslavian tourists near the Shikarpur bypass road.

The foreigners, identified as Sebastian John and Puzwiciztoc, were en route to Islamabad from Quetta.
