Man recovered

MARDAN, June 23: The police claimed on Saturday to have recovered a kidnapped person from Amankot area. Ibrahim Shah Khan, the SHO of Toru police station, said that acting on a tip-off the police raided the house of a proclaimed offender, Jahanzeb, in the Amankot locality of Toru city and recovered the kidnapped person identified as Waris Khan. He said that Waris Khan, a resident of Sheikh Maltoon Town, had been picked up by unknown persons on June 3, 2012 from his medical store located in the Usai Garyala area.Officials said that Raees Ahmad, son of the kidnapped man, had lodged a report with the Shahbaz Gari police station about the disappearance of his father. —Correspondent
