LAHORE, June 21: Opposition on Thursday submitted a resolution to the Punjab Assembly, seeking permanent suspension of Sheikh Allauddin’s membership.

The opposition said Allauddin’s behaviour was not worthy of a member of the provincial assembly, therefore, his membership should be suspended on a permanent basis.PML-Q parliamentary leader Chaudhry Zaheeruddin said the PML-N government committed a ‘shameful’ act by not allowing a woman legislator enter the assembly.

He said the way male security staff manhandled the women legislators on the assembly premises was highly deplorable.
