KARACHI, Dec 14: Muttahida Majlis-i- Amal MNA Abdul Sattar Afghani, has suggested that the proposed amount of Rs10 million to be given to each MNA should instead be given to local governments of their respective constituencies.

He said the local gove-rnment is the proper platform for prudent use of the funds for carrying out development works.

Abdul Sattar Afghani also suggested that the local government which receives this amount should be made bound to spend it on development so as to mitigate the difficulties of the people.—APP
