Five wardens ‘ticketed’

LAHORE, June 20: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Dr Usman Anwar has suspended five wardens from service for issuing fine tickets on wrong codes and rewriting fine tickets.

According to a handout issued on Wednesday, fine books of Shahdara and Ring Road sectors were examined and wardens Rashid, Khalid, Rafaqat, Adeel and Muhammad Aamir were found guilty in preliminary inquiry.

The CTO has ordered a regular inquiry against the suspended wardens. — Staff Reporter
