KARACHI, Dec 13: The monitoring teams, constituted to examine the authenticity of admissions made to first-year classes in colleges under the centralized admission policy, will visit the colleges during winter vacation.

A senior official at the DOE (colleges) office said that 12 teams had been formed in line with the CAP-2002 which would visit colleges from Dec 23 to Jan 1 to check the authenticity of admissions. The committee would go through the list of admissions and ascertain whether they were carried out in accordance with the merit list issued by the centralized admission committee or not.

It was learnt that each team would consist of three college teachers and on each visit they would be accompanied by one representative of the city government. Each team would visit six to 12 colleges in different towns.
