KARACHI, June 9: The bullet-riddled body of a youngster was found in the Old Timber Market area on Saturday, police said.

They said that the body was found in Sarya Gali within the remit of the Napier police station with multiple bullet wounds.

“The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi where the victim was identified as 30-year-old Naveed, a resident of Lyari. He went missing on June 7 and was probably kidnapped before being shot dead,” added the official. The body of another man was found along the Lyari River near Mauripur Road.

The Shershah police said that the victim who had been severely tortured was identified as Raheel Shah with the help of an identity card found in his pocket. He originally hailed from Haripur.
