LAHORE, June 2: Scores of residents took out a rally and blocked Ferozepur Road on Saturday to protest the water shortage due to prolonged loadshedding of electricity.
The protesters, including women, chanted slogans against Wasa and Wapda for badly disrupting their routine life.
They alleged that Wasa was neither sending water tankers to their localities nor operating generators installed at tubewells, adding to the miseries of a common man.
