Five civil hospitals upgraded

KHAIRPUR, Dec 12: The Sindh government has upgraded five civil hospitals in the province, officials of the health department said on Thursday.

These hospitals, they said, were the civil hospitals of Sukkur, Khairpur, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas and the Qatar Hospital in Karachi.

All of these hospitals except Khairpur have also been notified as training hospitals and doctors would be given house jobs in these hospitals.

Each department of these hospitals, they added, would have a specialist post of BPS-19 or BPS-20.

JSQM: The chairman of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), Basheer Qureshi, has accused the police of trying to create a clash between the Phul and the Shar tribes by helping the murderers of a JSQM leader, Aziz Phul.

He was speaking to the JSQM workers at their hunger strike camp established here at the Court Road.

DOG BITES: The people of Sain Dino Bozdar village, located near the katcha area of the Kingri taluka, have said that one of the victims bitten by a stray dog over a month ago had died.

Speaking at a press conference here on Thursday, they said that a stray dog had bitten Mohammad Sharif and his two daughters Farzana, 10, and Fouzia, 8.
