TAXILA, May 27: Three armed dacoits looted a house in Khawaja Nagar near railway station during early hours of Sunday in the limits of Hassanabdal police station.

Police sources said that three masked men scaled the wall of the house of Faisal Gulzar and made the inmates hostage at gunpoint.

They searched the house and fled away with 46 tola gold, prize bonds worth Rs500,000 and Rs20,000 cash. The police registered a case and started further investigation.
