IT block

BAHAWALPUR, May 19: The federal government will build an IT block at the Islamia University Bahawalpur at a cost of Rs20 million.

An agreement to this effect was reached between the federal IT ministry and the IUB here on Saturday, in line with an announcement made by Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at the IUB convocation on March 15.

IT ministry chief financial officer Aamir Javed and IUB Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Mukhtar signed the memorandum of understanding on the construction of the IT block. — Correspondent
