PESHAWAR, May 12: Fata journalists on Saturday urged the government to take appropriate measures to remove all restrictions on media in the tribal region.
This was demanded by leaders of Tribal Union of Journalists during a meeting of the TUJ central cabinet.
TUJ president Safdar Hayat Dawar presided over the meeting.
Participants said journalists working in tribal areas were facing multi-faceted challenges like no access to information and restriction and pressure from the administration.—Bureau Report
