ICA trials on Nov 26-27

ISLAMABAD, Nov 19: The Islamabad Cricket Association (ICA) is to hold trials to select its team for the prestigious Quaid-i-Azam Trophy on Nov 26 and 27.

A selection committee headed by the association’s chairman Syed Mansur Ahmed with Rizwan Khateeb and Rashid Iqbal as its members has been formed, secretary ICA Irfan Manzur said.

He said that players registered with ICA or having permanent domicile of the federal capital are eligible to appear in the trials which will be held at the Diamond Ground. Cricketers who have completed one year of their stay in Islamabad can also take part.

Irfan said that performance of the players in national and ICA tournaments would be considered while selecting the team for the Quaid Trophy.
