Boy kidnapped for ransom in Khuddian

KASUR, Dec 10: Five gunmen allegedly kidnapped a boy for ransom in Khuddian.

Zaman told police that Salim along with his four accomplices entered his house and kidnapped his nephew. Later, they called the family by phone and demanded Rs250,000 ransom for his release.

Khuddian police have registered a case and are interrogating.

SIX INJURED: Six people, including two women, were injured in Gohar Gulab Singh village, Phool Nagar.

Police claimed that Kabir Khan and Juma Khan had an old enmity. Kabir along with his 12 accomplices entered the house of Juma Khan and opened indiscriminate fire on his family injuring Abdul Razzaq, Chahat Khan, Islam Din, Ramzan, Ms Zubeda and Ms Saima seriously.

The accused fled from the scene while the injured were admitted to hospital.
