CHAKWAL, May 3: District Police Officer (DPO) Kashif Mushtaq Kanju claimed on Thursday that 36 alleged outlaws were arrested while police also recovered nine kilogram hashish and seized 22 bottles of liquor from their custody.

In a statement, the DPO said that among the nabbed miscreants 15 were proclaimed offenders (PO). The accused were wanted to police in various criminal cases. The DPO would also hold a public meeting on Saturday at Katas to redress the grievances of the citizens. — Correspondent
