Driver killed in accident

MIRPURKHAS, Nov 19: An ambulance driver belonging to the health department, Mirpurkhas, was killed on the spot and two people were injured when a Naukot-bound coach collided head-on with their ambulance near the Sayasar hotel on the Mithi-Naukot road on Monday.

The ambulance driver, Mushtaq Ahmed Mari, died on the spot, while Dr M Akhlaque Khan and the head clerk, Abdul Aziz, were injured. The driver of the coach escaped immediately.

Both the injured were admitted at the Civil Hospital Mithi.

ACCIDENT: A youth, Mukesh (20), was seriously injured in an accident near the Raja Mir Zaman bus stand on Mirwah Road and died on the way to hospital on Sunday night.
