ISLAMABAD, April 26: Inspector General (IG) of National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) Wajid Ali Khan Durrani on Thursday said that the road safety must be included in curriculum to educate the children on this vital aspect of the society.

He was addressing at the speech competition held among the students of universities on ‘Road Safety- Everybody's Responsibility,’ which was organised by NHMP in collaboration with National Council of the Arts (PNCA).

He said that the teachers could play an important role in creating awareness of road safety among their students from primary to university. He said that youngsters were  considered careless drivers, therefore, awareness of road safety issues among the students was essential and teachers could be helpful in this regard.— APP
