ISLAMABAD, Dec 9: Ministry of Religious Affairs will start training of ‘Manasak-i-Haj’ for intending pilgrims at Tehsil and district level across the country from December 11.

Official sources told this agency that the intending pilgrims would be informed about the place of training through letters.

The training will help the pilgrims perform ‘Manasak-i-Haj’ in a befitting manner during their stay in Makkah and Madina, they added.

“The ministry will send the departure programme to intending pilgrims, who have acquired official accommodation for the forthcoming Haj, before December 15.”

The sources said letters in this regard had already been dispatched to intending pilgrims at their residential addresses.

About 95 per cent accommodation have been made available for Pakistani Hujjaj in Saudi Arabia, while the remaining arrangement will be completed before start of the Haj, sources added.

According to PIA schedule, the first Haj flight will depart on January 6 from Islamabad airport, while flights from Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta will continue till February 6.

Similarly, Saudi Airline will start its flights for Hujaj from January 13, from Lahore. About 10,000 pilgrims will depart for Jeddah by Saudi Airline. The flights of Saudi Airline will also operate from Islamabad and Karachi.—APP
