QUETTA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Lashkari Raisani on Tuesday resigned from his Senate membership, DawnNews reported.

He presented his resignation at the Senate secretariat.

Earlier in 2010, Raisani had resigned from his position as president of the PPP's Balochistan chapter.

Of more recently, Raisani has shown reservations with the federation over its approach on the Balochistan issue.

He is the younger brother of Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani.
