MUZAFFARGARH, Dec 8: The Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD) will launch a peaceful protest campaign against the “unconstitutional steps” of the government.

Speaking at a joint press conference here on Sunday, ARD chief Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan and PML-N acting president Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said the alliance would hold peaceful meetings in all big cities of the country.

They said the schedule for the “movement” would be announced at an ARD meeting in Lahore in the first week of January.

They expressed apprehensions regarding decision of the PML-Q to give the office of Sindh chief minister to the MQM.—APP
