Nawaz for supremacy of parliament

Published December 6, 2002

ISLAMABAD, Dec 5: The only way towards recovery of political and economic stability lies in the united struggle by all democratic forces for restoration of Constitution, rule of law and supremacy of the elected parliament.

This was stated by former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif in their message on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.

Both leaders said people should pray for the restoration of honour, dignity and independence of Pakistan in the Eid congregations.
