PESHAWAR, Oct 9: The anti-smuggling squads of the customs collectorate, Peshawar, seized smuggled goods of the customs and freight value of over Rs5m from different parts of the NWFP, an official handout issued here on Monday said.

The goods recovered, in 26 cases recorded from Sept 27 to October 7, include a non-duty paid car, foreign cloth, metal detectors, hair combs, artificial beats, spare parts, etc.

Besides, the customs authorities also seized 40kg charas on Oct 4 and arrested three alleged peddlers identified as Zafar Ali, Khalid Khan and Gul Hassan.
