LAHORE, Dec 4: The Punjab government has announced that the entry test for admissions to medical and dental colleges for the session 2002-03 will be held on Dec 29.

The University of Engineering and Technology will organize the entry test simultaneously at Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Bahawalpur at 9am.

The date has been extended from Dec 15 to Dec 29 following a Punjab government decision to allow all those students who secured at least 65 per cent marks in intermediate to take test.

According to the new schedule, the affected students can purchase admission forms, packets and submit personal data sheet and cards for entry test from Dec 10 to 14.

The Punjab medical and dental colleges admission board has also announced that entry test results will be declared on Jan 18. The list of 2,000 top merit students will be put at all medical and dental colleges same day.

The selected 2,000 students will be eligible to apply for admission to medical and dental colleges on prescribed forms between Jan 20 and Jan 27 next year.
