BAHAWALPUR, Dec 4: The Anti-Terrorism Court judge on Wednesday issued black warrants for six condemned prisoners.

Ashiq Hussain and Aqeelur Rehman were handed down death sentences after they were found guilty of raping girls of Basti Shahdara and Tibba Badar Shair.

Two more persons — Majid Mahmood and Muhammad Abbas — will also be executed on Dec 19.

Mahmood had murdered Zafar Mahmood and injured his wife on resistance during a dacoity bid in their house in Bahawalnagar.

Abbas had shot dead ASI Ali Anwar for holding him out during a bus robbery in the limits of Chishtian police station.

They will be hanged on Dec 17 in the New Central Jail. The president has already rejected his mercy appeal.

Meanwhile, another ATC judge also sentenced to death Mushtaq Ahmed and Amir of Bahawalnagar for raping a girl. They will be hanged on Dec 18 in a Bahawalpur jail.
