KARACHI, March 21: A fine century from Najam Abbas enabled Candyland score a winning draw by four wickets against Omar Associates in the CCA Qualifier Cricket League tie at the RLCA Ground in Gulberg here on Wednesday.

Najam struck 117 off 114 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes as Candyland reached 271-4 in 48 overs in response to Omar Associates’ tally of 269-7 in the stipulated 50 overs.

Earlier, Faraz Feroze was the mainstay of the Omar Associates innings with an impressive knock of 100 (108 balls, nine fours). Candyland claimed 20 total points, while Omar Associates earned nine.
