QUETTA, March 18: A man and his young son were killed in Tajikabad area of the city on Sunday, police said.
Yaqoob Shah and son Naveed Shah were sitting at their grocery shop in Killi Shabu area on the outskirts of the city when unidentified men on motorcycles opened fire on them.
They were injured and taken to the civil hospital where they died.
The cause of the attack could not be ascertained. DIG (operations) Qazi Wahid said an investigation into the incident was under way.—Staff Correspondent
