ISLAMABAD: The Memo commission will resume its proceedings on Sunday as the Attorney General, Moulvi Anwar-ul-Haq prepares to question Mansoor Ijaz – the main character of the memo scandal, DawnNews reported.

Mishal Khan, the wife of Kashmiri leader, Yasin Malik will also appear in front of the commission and will present a response to the allegations on her husband by Ijaz.

On Saturday, Ijaz also claimed that President Asif Ali Zardari gave permission to the US for the operation to kill Osama Bin Laden in Abbotabad.

Responding to a question from Zahid Bukhari, Ijaz said that he spoke on the telephone with Haqqani on May 9, 2011, and passed him the clauses of the memo, claiming that whatever he was doing was in the knowledge of the president.
