ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission probing the memogate scandal on Thursday directed former ambassador to US Hussain Haqqani's counsel to submit his complete reply on the exhibited documents produced by Mansoor Ijaz before the commission.

The commission also asked Haqqani to accept or deny Ijaz's documents or testimony which he recorded before it.

The commission headed by Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Qazi Faez Issa and comprising Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Iqbal Hameed ur Rehman and Sindh High Court Chief Justice Musheer Alam as members, conducted the proceedings at Islamabad High Court.

During proceedings the commission also directed Zahid Hussain Bukhari, counsel for Hussain Haqqani,to complete cross examination of Mansoor's testimony within four days.

Bukhari requested the memo commission to seek Ijaz's passport so it could be examined for entry and exit stamps in United States of America.

The commission, subsequently, directed Ijaz to bring his passport tomorrow and exhibit before the commission.

Further hearing was adjourned till tomorrow.
