POLLUTION not only damages the environment, but damages us also. It causes many problems, ranging from lung cancer to the green-house effect. Turbat city is posed with hazard because of the paucity of controlling of traffic which damages the whole environment.

No restriction, no traffic laws exist, and people drive vehicles without a driving licence. A lot of unauthorised old Iranian pickups bring diesel, petrol and other smuggled goods from Iran, thus also spreading pollution.

Besides, they cause problems to many drivers because of being left-hand-drive vehicles.

More than 500 vehicles enter the city on a daily basis from the outskirts of the city. There is no government-provided parking place so that they can park their vehicles on one side of the road.

My humble request to the authorities concerned is that either ban the entry of vehicles or provide more parking space so that accidents can be prevented.
