HYDERABAD, Dec 3: Six highwaymen shot dead a coaster passenger and injured two others on the Tando Allahyar-Mirpurkhas Road, near the Naseer Wah, on Tuesday.

The highwaymen boarded the coaster (R-0879), which was headed for Mirpurkhas from Tando Allahyar, near the Naseer Wah, disguised as passengers but soon took out their pistols and started looting the passengers.

An unidentified passenger sitting near the door of the coaster refused to part with his valuables, so one of the bandits opened fire killing him on the spot. Two other passengers, Badal Samejo and Usman Shah, were injured in the firing.

After looting the passengers, the highwaymen disembarked and escaped on foot.

The injured passengers have been admitted to the Taluka hospital, Tando Allahyar.

The driver of the bus, Mohammad Usman, had an FIR lodged at the Tanod Allhyar police station.
