LAHORE, March 7: The Defective Drug Inquiry Tribunal comprising Justice Ijazul Ahsan of the Lahore High Court recorded on Wednesday statements of Dr Bashir Ahmad, professor of pharmacology of the Punjab University, and former chief drugs controller Rauf Khalid.
They also produced documents in support of their statements. Further notices had been issued to chief chemical examiner Dr Mubashar Attique and deputy inspector of Elite Force Zulfiqar Cheema to appear before the tribunal on March 8.
