KARACHI: Citi Pakistan has partnered with the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) for ‘Project Change’, a capacity building program that aims to create stronger linkages between universities and industry.
As part of this program, a two day workshop will be held with relevant stakeholders to create best practices and learn from success stories, a press release stated.
The program is based on a $50,000 grant from the Citi Foundation.
“We are optimistic that this initiative will contribute positively to the development of young people in Pakistan by improving their employment prospects,” said Karim Seifeddine, Citi’s Head of Corporate Affairs for the Middle East, Africa & Pakistan.
“The program will provide a unique platform for diverse stakeholders to come together to provide a blueprint for our academic institutions, industry and community,” said Professor Dr Syed Zahoor Hassan, former Vice Chancellor LUMS and Project Lead for the initiative.
