ISLAMABAD: Despite bagging seats by the PML-N in the recently held by-polls, Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan lashed out at the government for holding ‘rigged’ by-polls.

Addressing the media at the Parliament House, Nisar accused the government for being biased in the by-elections and said that the rigging tactics employed brought back the memories of the Musharraf era.

He blamed the Pakistan People’s Party for utilising official resources and accused the prime minister of campaigning for the elections in Multan for the past four months.

He urged the Election Commission to take notice of the irregularities in the by-polls.

Khan warned the PPP-led government of rumpus in the National Assembly during the presidential speech if they were not allowed to live peacefully.
