HYDERABAD, Dec 2: Chief ministers have been appointed in the other provinces while a deadlock prevails in Sindh, said Sindh National Front chief Mumtaz Ali Bhutto here on Monday.

Talking to a group of newsmen at an Iftar party, Mumtaz criticised transfer of power had been delayed in Sindh, adding that the province was virtually being run under governor rule.

Expressing concern over the deteriorating political and law and order situation in Sindh, he said that life and property of the people was unsafe while the incidence of unemployment and corruption was continuously on the rise.He said that transfer of power would remain a dream unless the elected government could frame its own polices.

When asked as to why the People’s Party Parliamentarians was not being give power in Sindh despite being the majority party, Mumtaz said that all groups had laid claims to a majority but this could only be determined on the floor of the House.

He said the party, establishing its majority in the House, had the right to rule over Sindh.
