While talking to newsmen on the telephone on Monday, he said that negotiations were going on with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, and added that he believed to get the support of the MQM and Pir Pagara to form a government of the Grand National Alliance (GNA) in Sindh province.

He said that the People’s Party Parliamentarians was not in a position to form government in Sindh.

Replying to a question, Dr Arbab Ghulam Raheem said that there was “no danger of imposing Governor Raj in Sindh”.

He said that no party in the Sindh Assembly had a clear majority and if a meeting of the Sindh Assembly was held, the members would not be able to elect any person as the chief minister.
