MUZAFFARABAD, Feb 13: An MQM member of the AJK Legislative Assembly will join the cabinet on Tuesday.

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has two members in the Legislative Assembly elected against the seats reserved for Pakistan-based Kashmiri refugees. Mohammad Tahir Khokhar has already been inducted into the cabinet as transport minister.

AJK President Sardar Mohammad Yaqoob Khan will administer the oath to Mohammad Salim Butt at the Kashmir House in Islamabad.

A notification about the appointment of Mr Butt as minister was issued on Saturday, a day before the AJK prime minister visited the MQM's headquarters 'Nine Zero' in Karachi.
