BUNER, Nov 18: The local contractors have threatened to seize the tehsil municipal office, suspend work on ongoing-schemes and protest demonstrations on roads to block them if their outstanding bills were not released within one week deadline.

The announcement made here by Zar Afrooz Khan and Farman Khan, president and general secretary of government contractor association Buner while speaking at a press conference here on Friday.

Dozens of other contractors were also present on the occasion.

They also criticized the harsh attitude of the TMO who according to has become a dictator.

They accused him of ignoring the directives of the DCO in connection with release of the dues.

They made it clear that the poor labourers were asking for their wages but the contractors were not in position to pay them because of delay in payment from the TMO.

They also accused the TMO for the misuse of funds and misuse of the official vehicles and demanded of the governor NWFP Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah and district Nazim Sirzamin Khan to take action against him.
