FAISALABAD, Feb 11: Younger brother of a private TV channel reporter was shot at and critically injured by unidentified assailants at his doorstep on Saturday.

According to the police, Imran, brother of reporter Irfanullah, was shot at when he opened the door of his Rachna Town house, responding to a knock.

The unidentified attackers fled the scene riding a motorcycle. Imran who is settled in Dubai and returned Pakistan a couple of days ago, received two bullets.

He was admitted to District Headquarters Hospital where his condition was said to be critical.
