Policeman shot dead

SANGHAR, Feb 7: A police constable was shot dead at the main gate of Police Line here on Tuesday.

Arshad Mallah, 40, was shot at by unidentified assailants while he was going to Police Line dispensary where he worked.

He received four bullets in the chest and was taken to the civil hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

After pot-mortem, the body was taken to his village.

The motive behind the murder is said to be an old enmity.
