LAHORE, Feb 6: Drugs reaction continued to take lives of the patients as five more died in various hospitals of the city during the last two days raising the death toll to 132.

According to sources, Rehana Bibi and Feroze Din of Baghbanpura and Faqir Muhammad of Ghazi Road died at Services Hospital while Bilquees Bibi of Arifwala and Muhammad Saleem of Sahiwal died at Mayo Hospital and Jinnah Hospital, respectively.

A spokesman for the Health Department claimed that two patients died of the drugs reaction during the last 24 hours. He said at present 258 patients were getting treatment in various hospitals. Some eight more patients were discharged from hospitals during the last 24 hours, he said.
