KARACHI, Feb 4: Left-arm paceman Rumman Raees Khan claimed a five-wicket haul and Shaharyar Ghani hit an unbeaten 57 to guide Omar CC into the final of the All Sindh Balochistan Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto cricket tournament in Dadu on Saturday.
Rumman took five for 15 as Shaheed Rustam Khan Jamali CC crashed to 82 all out in 30 overs. Wicket-keeper Javed Mansoor also excelled with five catches.
Omar CC reached their target of 83-1 in just 10.1 overs with Shaharyar Ghani striking nine fours and one six leading the way.
Omar CC’s opponents in Sunday’s final will be Brothers CC of Dadu who beat Jacobabad’s Sardar Ganj Bux Mirpur Burirro by 116 runs in the other semi-final.
Dr Niaz Ali Abbasi, Deputy Commissioner of Dadu, will be the chief guest at the final and distribute prizes at 3:00pm on Sunday.
