LAHORE, Jan 29: Pakistan People’s Party general secretary Jehangir Badr says his party has never compromised on principles to reach the power corridors.

At a convention of the All-Pakistan Minorities Alliance here on Sunday, he said the PPP believed in people’s power and never struck a deal with dictators just to rule the country.

Recalling the role that PPP founder chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto played for minorities’ rights, he said the party would continue to carry forward their ideology and that the association between the PPP and the minorities would last for ever.
