LAHORE, Jan 28: The Airport Security Force on Saturday arrested a former PIA employee after recovering two kilog heroin worth Rs20 million from his luggage at Lahore airport.

According to a spokesman, ASF officials checked the baggage of Gulzar Ahmad and found heroin concealed in some stitched portions of his trolley bag.

Gulzar was leaving for Dubai on an Ettihad Airways flight (EY-242).

The suspect was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force for further action. ASF DG Azam Tiwana announced cash and certificates for the staff concerned. — Staff Reporter
